KELLY KASTELITZ, OWNER & PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER
I’ve always loved spending time organizing my own home and helping friends and family with theirs. I remember when I was young, my family made fun of me for color coding my clothes and spacing my hangers perfectly. After college, I became a Project Manager in marketing, product development and healthcare. Yes, paying close attention to detail and making sure everything was in it’s proper place was my everyday job. But, I’ve always felt that something was missing. So here I am, many years later, feeling a need for change and am ready to take a more “hands on” approach with my career.
After moving half way across the country with my family, I began to realize how much I enjoyed the process of packing, unpacking and organizing my home. Being mindful of making my space manageable yet aesthetically pleasing at the same time was exhilarating for me. I was able to transition a space of stress (with 2 young kids, hubby and a Labrador puppy) to a space of joy utilizing my skills and a few simple tools – bins, baskets, labels, color and design – to make a highly functional space for our everyday needs. And now I want to share my organizational skills and eye for design with others...and that’s how Simply Managed Living was born!
